Area Sales Manager

Esstential Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Train, develop and lead a sale team.
  • Assess the skills of other members of the sales team and coach for improvement.
  • Develop and implement regional business plans.
  • Sell and promote the services of BOC Sciences to meet regional sales goals.
  • Identify and develop new customer opportunities, and maintain business relationships with existing customers.
  • Responsible for prioritizing project planning, meeting competitive customer requirements/deadlines, and organized territory management.
  • Plan and conduct effective sales meetings.
  • Responsible for directing and monitoring the execution of approved marketing plans and promotion campaigns.
  • Analyze sales reports.
  • Price and contract negotiations.
  • Responsible for overall quote management.
  • Market and competitive analysis, and support product and marketing management with your input.
  • Create potential target pipeline based on market research.
  • Provide support to the leadership team in negotiations, contract development and other business development.
  • Collaborate with other business units to create pipelines.

Job Required:

  • Master's degree or 3+ years of experience in a management or leadership/training role.
  • A proven track record in a biotechnology selling environment.
  • Ability to manage challenging people and situations effectively.
  • Ability to produce results while handling multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Experience in analyzing sales figures and business planning.
  • Proactive and self-motivated.
  • Good written and spoken English skills.
